Aztra Gladstone Business Accommodation
Conditions of Reservation & Booking
When we confirm your reservation by email or fax, your reservation, your booking and any monies you paid to us or which are to be paid by you, are governed by the Aztra Gladstone Business Accommodation Conditions of Reservation & Booking which will be binding. By effecting payment(s) to us against this invoice, you confirm your acceptance of these conditions and your purchase of the accommodation invoiced.
Accommodation is provided and sold subject to these conditions. If the accommodation we provide is also subject to other conditions, then the Aztra Gladstone Business Accommodation Conditions of Reservation & Booking will always take precedence where they conflict with other conditions.
The holding deposit becomes non-refundable after 24 hours from the time that our confirmation of reservation (with these conditions attached) was sent to you by email or fax. Unless refunded, the holding deposit is part-payment of the accommodation fee or of the accommodation bond, whichever applies.
The accommodation fee is the rental value of the agreed reservation period booked by you, which is accommodation you purchase.
The reservation deposit is a part the accommodation fee. By paying this deposit you undertake to purchase the accommodation booked in accordance with these conditions. The reservation deposit is non-refundable. If, prior to check-in, you change your mind and advise us that you will not purchase the period booked as per our invoice, then you are deemed to have cancelled the reservation.
The accommodation bond is part of the accommodation fee where we agree to payments in instalments through direct debits. By paying this bond, you undertake to purchase the accommodation booked in accordance with these conditions. The accommodation bond is non-refundable. If, prior to check-in, you change your mind and advise us that you will not purchase the period booked as per our invoice, then you are deemed to have cancelled the reservation.
Methods of Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, you authorise Aztra Gladstone Business Accommodation to debit your nominated account against our invoice. We will debit your nominated account for the amount(s) and on the date(s) as set out on our tax invoice. A surcharge of 3.5% applies to payments made by an American Express card account. Aztra Gladstone Business Accommodation does not accept cash, cheques or Diners Card.
If a refundable security amount is lodged, the security will be refunded within one week from the check-out date, subject to adjustments where applicable. If you have arranged for paying our invoices by us debiting your nominated account directly, then security is coved by that arrangement and a separate security deposit will not be required.
Loss of inventory and/or damage to the property
You are responsible for any damage caused by you, or by your visitors and guests. We may, at our discretion, recover from you the cost of repairing or replacing any property damaged. We will provide you with details regarding any such recovery and provide a tax invoice.
Notice is your written advice, confirming your new departure date when terminating your booking early.
Unless specified otherwise in our correspondence, the notice period is 14 days.
The notice date is the date at which you confirm your early departure date or, if the period between that date and the early departure date is longer than the agreed notice period, then the date preceding the early departure date by a period equal to the agreed notice period.
The accommodation rates at which periodic payments are calculated may vary as they will reflect the rates posted from time to time on the website of Aztra Gladstone Business Apartments. Accommodation fees are invoiced periodically up to the notice date and are payable in advance.
Extension of stay
Requests for any extensions to the period of accommodation booked may be agreed to at our discretion.
If, prior to check in, you cancel part or all of the period you booked with us, credits/ refunds of pre-paid accommodation fees are at our sole discretion.
Accommodation you purchased is reserved for the duration of the period you booked with us. A cancelation fee equivalent to one day’s rent per week cancelled or part week cancelled applies if the cancellation is advised prior to the commencement of the notice period. In other cases, credits or refunds are at our discretion.
For bookings of nine days or more, Aztra Gladstone Business Apartments provides a weekly service (fresh linen as well as limited cleaning and bed making). You are required to provide access for this service to be performed when we require.
Notwithstanding any cleaning included in the weekly service, it remains your responsibility to keep the apartment clean, consistent with general norms of reasonable care and acceptability. Cleaning equipment and materials are provided.
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
